I can't tell you how annoyed I was to find my clutch slipping after 6,000 miles. Prior to this I had some warning that things were not right with that disgusting smell which lasts for days. The clutch was removed by the dealer and found to be worn down to the rivets.
After some exchanges of words with the dealer, the work was carried out under warranty.
I am very concerned that not only does the clutch slip when handling pear power, but for it to wear so quickly is appauling. Like many S2000 owners, I have had numerous other performance cars V8 BMW, Mitsubishi Evo6 etc. and never had a problem with clutch slippage or premature wear.
