Yes...and no. One of the most dangerous things officers do is pull cars over, they never know when someone is just going to open up on them, esp. at night.

At least the officer was cool about everything after confirming he wasn't stealing the car or something. No ticket for speeding/no turn signal ... about evens it out, eh?

S2KTroup, you need to give lessons on how to handle cops (the fact that you came out of this still thinking the cop was a nice guy). A couple other fellas on this board lately could do with some coaching.

The last ticket I got was driving UP hill on Johnson Ferry in my eleven year old civic, going to meet my mother for breakfast on a Saturday. So I'm terrified of what I can do in my NEW car.

This may be answered in an old thread (I'll have to search), but does anyone use radar detectors? If so, what kind? My boyfriend (speedy micah) has a Valentine One that he loves ... but he said he'd have to hardwire it into my car since the cigarette lighter is so far away.
