Default EXHAUST FOR MY S2000

IM LOOKING TO PURCHASE AN EXHAUST, IT NEEDS TO BE DUAL AND HAVE A DEEP TONE TO IT, WHAT KIND OF EXHAUST DO I NEED? IF YOU COULD HELP ME WITH THIS IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED, OHH AND THE FUNDS ARE LIMITED.

AND ANOTHER QUESTION, PEOPLE TELL ME I SHOULD GET A SPUGEN EXHAUST, WHERE CAN I GET ONE? AND HOW MUCH ARE THEY?

Just installed a comptech exhaust this past Sunday and I love it. Sound is great. More than stock but nothing obnoxious.

Check the library out on the front page. They have audio clips of exhausts you can listen to.

Opinions are biased.
In my opinion you can't improve much off the OEM.
I've heard Comptech, Mugen and Spugen are lighter in weight, but don't provide
significant HP increases for the $.
Invidia seems to provide the best gains and it sounds pretty sweet.

The best thing you could do is go to a meet or drive to listen what people have and the differences.
The Atlanta group meets weekly and have drives monthly
Someone is bound to show up with an aftermarket exhaust.

Good luck!

I have a comptech exhaust also and highly recommend it. It is slightly louder than stock. Its very quiet while crusing and no drone. Hit VTEC and it sounds very deep. Its is quiet when you want it to be and loud when you want it to be. Quality is top notch and the dual stainless steel mufflers are just beautiful. Its a little pricey but you pay for the craftsmanship. This is not the exhaust for you if you want to be noticed by everyone.

I had a local exhaust shop build mine from what I wanted for about 350.00 header back with 02 bung and all. I Have magnaflow chamberd muffler no cats and single built for that price. You could talk to a good exhaust shop and see what they can do. I took in a picture of a T1r exhaust and he replicated it for me. T1r cost 1000 bucks. My Hp gain was not dynoed but as with any exhaust dont expect much just sounds better as we all know louder = more power. Just kidding but just thought I would share my budget way too

i heard great reviews of the t1r sparrow, fujitsubo, and comptech. spugen is loud. i've had their single exhaust which sounds awesome, but just too loud/drone for me. t1r is good quality for the money. i now have their 63mm single and love it!

Get a 70mm single. You'll gain around 15 horses at the ground.
