This really sucks that it happened. I don't know how that course was set up but obviously it wasn't set up very safe at all. The organizers should learn from this and take it into consideration each time they set up a course. From what im hearing through the grape vine the Buccaneer region of SCCA isn't the safest in the world, maybe this little situation will open the eyes of the higher powers and get this Region more educated on safety.
This is the risk that you take when participating in these sort of events. I sincerely hope that they can have this worked out through insurance although I am educated on what basic insurance policies cover and don't cover and this doesn't look good.

At the last Auto-x at whitehouse the car was driven by a husband/wife combo. The lady nearly lost it last time but luckily gained control before finishing the course!
