Hi all,

I can't find any of the special cleaners/protectants that are recommended in the S2ki FAQ. I've been to pep boys, Discount Auto, and my office detail shop up in North Atlanta. I've found these products on carparts.com, but I would like to have them when I clean the car on Saturday.

I'd like to get the car cleaned up for this Sunday's meeting, I don't want to be ridiculed for not keeping my Stook in proper form!

In particular, I am looking for:
3M plastic cleaner #051131-39017
3M plastic polish #051131-39010
3M Perfect it non-scratching detailing cloth #051131-0616
or
Meguiars plastic cleaner #10
Meguiars plastic polish #17
Meguiar's Mirror Glaze, plastic window cleaner

Also, I would like to pick up a good cleaner & protectant for the top. Any recommendations where can get these things in Atlanta metro??

Andrew, I had to order my stuff online. Several places out there. Try autopia.com first.

Don't know where any of that stuff can be picked up locally but Atlanta is a big city.

As a matter of fact I was just talking to a 3M rep only moments ago. Anyway, maybe you could check the 3M website on where to find their products.

There is a large NAPA store close to me in Norcross (the NAPA store is on Peachtree industrial just south of Medlock Bridge Road) and they have a good selection of 3M car care products.

You've got nothing to worry about. My car was quite filthy at the last meet and not many even noticed.

There is a NAPA on Mansell, that carries all of the stuff you have listed.

That is where I go most of mine.

Consider Using RaggTopp Cleaner and RaggTop Protectant for the top, and simply use Pledge on the rear window. Also see the thread Detailing the S2000

The dealers use Pledge. Thats where I found out from.
