On I-85 today? I waved at you. Just curious why you didn't wanna play tag with my black s2k?
What %age of s2k owners in Atlanta would you say read this messageboard, anyone?

Hey, I think I've seen the same red S2000 as you have. I have seen it twice on I-85 on my way to work and I have waved both times and received no way back. I honestly don't think this person is on this site cause I have a hard time believing that anyone here would not wave back. I get excited when I see another S2K on the road, I just don't get it....
Oh well, there loss, cause we're great people...

I have a red S2000 with Gwinnett tags, but I have been out of town for a couple of weeks and my car is safely tucked into my garage. (and I always wave to other stook drivers)

I've seen a few red S2000's with Gwinnette tags over this way near the Mall of GA. They weren't members and I didn't want to stalk them just to hand out a flyer.
I'd say only about 10% of the cars sold in this area know about this board or the Atlanta club.

I have approach 3 or 4 S2000 drivers over the last year or so and have told them about the local club and this site. Everyone of them seemed totally uninterested. Oh well, you can lead them to the water...............

Hey guys! i have about 6 or 7 s2k's in my neighborhood. I think 2 are red. I saw one of the guys on Old Peachtree Rd and he waved, it was probably him you are talking about. most of them keep s2k's for their fun cars. They only drive around a couple times a month. Anyways, probably someone i know. Thought i'd help you guys out. Brandon

Actually its a 800 home development and will be finished at 1000. People don't drive their cars in here much. Most of them are 2nd or 3rd "fun" cars. one of my neighbors has a red one with almost 60 miles and it is a early production 2000. They just don't feel the excitement i guess like we do. Well, anyways its still cool to pass them sometimes or to see all of them in the garage. Brandon

Mine isn't my daily driver, but 60 miles on an early MY2000! What a waste. Fun cars are meant to be driven.
I have a friend with a late 80s AMG Mercedes - it has about 1500 miles on it - he bought it new. It isn't a real car anymore, he has a full sized model car. He just waxes it and looks at it.
