so...for now the s2k is the dd on the weekend i do have the gf's hatchback available but its supposed to snow tonight how hard is the s2k to drive in those type of conditions? I am i going to be alright as long as i take my time and go slow??

last bad snow was bad for me. i could barely keep it straight. got 150lbs of weight in the back and that seemed to help. luckily i was off work and the road crews did a good job. tonights weather shouldn't be to bad at all. it also helps to get some all season tires. i on the other hand still have the summer tires on which isn't the smartest thing to do. just be careful and feel how the car is doing. you can defiantly tell when you are losing control

The S is NOT a car for snow. If you have alternate transportation, I would recommend driving it instead.
The weight in the trunk will help a little bit, but will not make the car safe.

LOL - just back from snow (not in the S).
I forgot what snow-packed streets look like.
The S pretty much SUX in the snow. That being said, it performs well with all season tires. If you can drive whenever it's wet - the TOYO Proxes 4, I now have, and others, have been performing well so far (even in cold weather).
