last bad snow was bad for me. i could barely keep it straight. got 150lbs of weight in the back and that seemed to help. luckily i was off work and the road crews did a good job. tonights weather shouldn't be to bad at all. it also helps to get some all season tires. i on the other hand still have the summer tires on which isn't the smartest thing to do. just be careful and feel how the car is doing. you can defiantly tell when you are losing control

The S is NOT a car for snow. If you have alternate transportation, I would recommend driving it instead.

The weight in the trunk will help a little bit, but will not make the car safe.

Be careful out there or risk this:

LOL - just back from snow (not in the S).

I forgot what snow-packed streets look like.

The S pretty much SUX in the snow. That being said, it performs well with all season tires. If you can drive whenever it's wet - the TOYO Proxes 4, I now have, and others, have been performing well so far (even in cold weather).

I still have a lense cover from one of the rear tail lights as a "memento" from the old MY03.

That's correct - The on-ramp was clean of snow - except for a few semi-invisible patches of "black ice".... Doh!
