Default Shift Knob

I think I am going to purchase a shiftknob. What I would like is one lower than stock, countersunk i think its called. Any ideas on where/what to get. Also this may sound dumb but how hard is the install. How do u install?
Thanks, Aaron

Install should be easy. If it's like the OEM knob, you'll need a 14 mm wrench to unscrew the nut (push the boot down to see it), then unscrew the knob.

The ARC Ti shift knob appeals to me ARC Ti knob pic, but I'm not sure how much it is countersunk. See also Rick's accessories for some short-throw knobs.

Happy shopping!

I currently have the Team Voodoo Shift knob from Rick's. It is countersunk and lowers the shift radius by over 1". Installation is simple, as rehile indicated above. If you decide to go with a countersunk knob, you will also need to use some lock tight to hold the knob in place.

Here is a pic for your viewing pleasure.

Yes... it is an adhesive... You will want to use blue. If you use red, you will never get the knob back off, without destroying it.. I've used blue almost 3 years ago and have not had a problem with the knob coming loose.

It's better to put the locktite on the shifter threads than in the knob. You don't want it to drip out of the knob during application, do you?
