Dude, just save it for the track where you can push your car to the limits within a 'controlled environment'. I think it would be safe to say that none of us older folk condone aggressive driving, street racing or doing just plain stupid. You are putting yourself at risk and innocent bystanders. Don't get me wrong, anyone who owns an S2000, loves to do a bit of 'spirited' driving once in a while. But I don't think I would be braging or asking in public for advice/hints/comparison notes on how I could do something more stupid.
Either way, in these low temperatures, you are just ASKING for trouble speeding on high performance tires.

Simply amazing, Shawn must be aging. Never thought we'd all be commenting on Shawn's words of wisdom when it came to speed.
Maybe a momentary lapse of insanity
Guess that means no more tickets for Shawn.

Not a top-end speed worthy post, but I got SEVERELY spanked (I guess ). So yesterday, two younger gentlemen were driving their new Z06 corvette. We went through two stop lights and I saw them looking over several times. At the third light, we ended up in the front. They took off like a minivan ... then laid on it. I floored the S. By that time, they already shifted to to second.
Cripes. those are fast cars.

My rev limiter bounces at 132 in 5th gear, do the math for 6th. Switch to Kilometers for added visual experience to think you are going fast with out the tickets.
