i just did run my car to 120mph....(not any more) ..but i know s2k can run faster more than that, so can u guys tell me how fast u guys run your s2k...
please give me the accurate mph and rpm when you at that speed...

The spec says max speed is 150mph but you'd be lucky to see that on the road except under favourable conditions, & incredibly lucky to stay out of jail if caught
Enjoy the handling & the VTEC rush of acceleration rather than the top speed, & if you really want to play 'silly buggers', you should do it on a race track!

my friend jus got caught for speeding...he was doing 95 on the highway but got written down for 85. he got lucky since he didnt take traffic school yet and im pretty sure thats his plan.
Had the vehicle near my limit before backing down, with plenty of room to spare. Anything past a three digit # now a day is not worth it to me as I don't want to end up in jail. Get your self some track time to open her up. Also... contact hyedracyl has he will be more that happy to show you the limits of your car.
For a stock AP2 such as your, use the chart below to determine its capability.
The fastest I've had my S up to is 146 mph. I've had it over 140 a few times and have even used cruised control at that speed just to see if it would work. To me, anything up to 125 mph, just doesn't seem that fast anymore since I've done it so many times. Most of these times have happened at the track, of course.
I remember reading that the AP1 runs out of gear at 163 mph, but that the car, in stock trim, is limited to 156. Up to 130, the car gets there pretty quickly, but after that it seems to take a while. At that speed though, what was once a long straight isn't so long anymore, cause you are hauling ass at that speed. Oh, at over 120, it floats a little in the rear.
Another thing, if you get caught speeding at over 100 mph, its attempted manslaughter. Go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Of course in some counties, they are supposed to chase you if you are going over 100, unless you have commited a major crime or are going to. You can't count on them not chasing though. If they pop lights on you, it's best to just pull over; they don't like it went you don't and appearently the S2000 CAN outrun a normal police cruiser. Not that I would know from personal experience or anything. I have the tickets to prove it though.
If you really want to drive fast, find a track day to go to. Driving school is the best modification you can make to your car. A day at the track is a lot cheaper than a ticket too.
I can tell you not to do this, but it's your choice. It has lots of risks and dire consequences. Just hope you don't hurt someone else while you are having your fun.
