Let's get this planned!!!
September, I think is going to be the best time, so let's check our calendars and put some dates down.
Sept: 3rd, 4th, and 5th... (Labor day weekend). Gives us an extra day to recover.
Sept: 10th & 11th
Sept: 17th & 18th
Sept: 24th & 25th
or for a bit of cooler weather... we have October:
Oct: 1st & 2nd
Oct: 8th & 9th
Right now, most of these dates are open for me. I would prefer Labor day weekend (9/3, 9/4 and 9/5, but understand as many may already have plans. October 1st & 2nd or Sept 17th & 18th.
The KC S2000 owners will be invited and are more than welcome to join our fun.
So, let' get this ball rolling. Here is what I need from you!
Post up your interest and your first and second weekend date selections by no later than August 6th. We will need that much lead time to book our accommodations for the evening.
In the meantime, I'll work out some routes, one of which will be out May run route.

I'm in for this. Anytime but weekend of 9/30. We're checking out Arkansas roads that weekend.

With a 116 degree today, air conditioning was a must. So I spent some time thinking of routes for this fall run.
Three routes have been designed. Two through the Mississippi River Valley (north and south). One to meet up with the KC S2K group and head to Table Rock (with a potential hook-up with the Ark-La-Tx group )
Route #1:Heading north, via Illinois, through Hannibal for lunch and continuing north to Burlington which is about 10 miles north of Fort Madison. Return on the Missouri side back through Hannibal and then heading south on Hwy 79 into O'Fallon. Round trip 450 miles and better in September.
Route #2:Heading south through Illinois to Cario. Cario to Peducah and then to Kentucky Lake. Spend evening at Kentucky Lake. Returning north through Marion, Elizabethtown and Jonesboro. North to Murphysboro and then back the same we we came. Round trip 460 miles and better in October.
Route #3 and probably the nicest: This route has been designed to allow the Kansas City and Gateway S2K owners unite in Jefferson City. Jefferson City south to Table Rock/Branson. Spend the evening. Each respective group to return on their own scenic run. The Branson to St. Louis return through familiar territory including Gainesville, West Plains, Salem, and Potosi. The Branson to KC return south through Table Rock then north near Stockton Lake and the Harry S Truman Reservoir.
St. Louis - Table Rock Round Trip 660 miles
Kansas City to Table Rock round trip 615 miles
Combined Gateway and Kansas City Run:
The best result for this run is to have the Ark-La-Tx group meet us in Table Rock for a nice sized meet.
Give me some feedback on these routes and post up some dates.
