help with rims

Default help with rims

so i wanna get some 18's. im not about to spend three grand on rims.
i wanna get some enkei lf10s. they are pretty sick.
they only come in 7.5

i know that the rear is supposed to be 7.5.
but the front is 6.5

would it be fine to put 7.5 on the front ? please help.

p.s. that is the width of the rim im pretty sure.


stock width for the front is 6.5

Yes, 7.5 is standard offset. You will be safe.

For some reason I remember FormulaRedline tracks his car with all four treads having equal widths. And we all know he does well on the track with his S! Aside from the non-OEM fitment, you should be fine.

No, that's the width in inches...

Personally, I think 7.5" on an 18" rim will look tall and narrow. I'm running 8" in the front and 9" in the rear... What size tire are you planning to get? If you get too narrow of a rim, you'll have problems finding a tire that will fit properly.

BTW, you don't have to spend 3 grand on wheels to get the proper size but you do have to 'pay to play' or you'll have problems taking short cuts. Don't cheap out!
