Default Berk's Testpipe w/CEL

Okay... I bought the Berk's testpipe w/CEL fix. I installed that baby today and it sounds amazing paired with my mugen exhaust. But there is just one thing... the CEL light popped up! I did the spark plug anti-fouler trick using two of them. I drilled the hole a little bit bigger for the o2 sensor and the CEL light still engaged. Well... at first I drove it for 2 miles and then it popped up afterwards. I'm still trying to find a solution for this problem. I have been reading up on testpipes for 06+ and from what I have read they say that 06+ are easily to trigger CEL with aftermarket testpipes. If anyone know a solution please help me out! Thanks!

Make sure that when the o2 sensor is in the plug foulers, that it does not protrude into the test pipe. You want it to read less air than is going thru the pipe.

I have two spark plug anti-fouler plus the CEL fix that is on the Berk's. So pretty much the o2 sensor is pretty far from the pipe. I'm thinking about adding another anti-fouler to see if that works.

I think we should try the Berk on my 06 and see which it likes better...

Tu, the anti-foulers are cheap enough so might as well get another set and add more length to them. They are sold in pairs right?

Yes, Brad they are sold in pairs. But here are some updated news. I went outside to disconnect the battery. I left it disconnected for a good 30 seconds. Reconnected it and then I turned on the car and whola! no CEL. But we will see tomorrow when I drive the car to work and drive it around to see if it triggers it.

You should be 'fixed' for good, then.

Actually... no i'm not. I threw a CEL after driving for 5 miles after reseting ECU. I went ahead and bought 2 more spark plug ant-fouler and installed it. Now I have a total of 4 spark plug anti-fouler, 1 of them bored out, and a CEL fix from the testpipe. I reseted the ECU again and now I'm just waiting and driving around to see if it kicks on again. I hope it doesn't.

I never got a CEL after installing my Berk test pipe... I did have to swap the OEM cat back on after the car failed safety for not having a cat (but ironically I passed emissions)
