Autocross Sunday 3/7
The BSCC will be holding its first Autocross of the 2010 season this
coming Sunday, March 7th. We run all of our Autocrosses on the Bldg.
33 parking lot which is on the Southeast corner of McDonnell Blvd. and
Lindbergh. If the weather is wet/rainy please call me before coming
out to the parking lot on my cell number which is 314-749-1062. You
can see the 2010 Autcross Schedule at http://stlbscc.org/?page_id=23.
We utilize the same basic rules as the SCCA regarding car classes,
safety, tech inspection, etc. Every driver and passenger is required
to wear a helmet, but don't worry if you don't own a helmet since we
have loaner helmets.
We start Registration between 9:30 and 10:00. The course is usually
available for walking by around 10:00. We have a short Drivers Meeting
and try and get the first car on course by 11:00am.
The cost to run the Autocross is $10.00 which entitles you to 6 runs.
We run two heats, so if you run heat 1 you will work heat 2 and vice
versa.
The following link has some good information for any first time

Hope to see some of you out there on Sunday!!
You can email me at sshab@yahoo.com if you have any questions or if
you would like to be added to my BSCC distribution list.

First SCCA Event is next weekend 3/14 down at Gateway - if you guys want to drive on a real course I'd definitely check it out. (instead of the rinky dink Boeing courses on slippery asphalt)
There is also the Rookie School being held on 3/13 at Gateway.
