6-disc cd player-mp3 player- aux
i have an 01, and it still has the stock radio in the car. it had sirus radio and what looked to be an ipod plug in that is on a harnass next to the head unit. I also have a 6-disc cd changer in the trunk. If the cd changer is hooked up and working, can I still have a hook up for my mp3 player to play through the head unit or do I have to choose one or the other.

I doubt it... the connections are different but to be honest, I wouldn't think you would use your CD changer if you have an MP3 player hooked up. I know I never used my CD changer and ended up selling it.

Wait, maybe I misread your post... if you are asking if you can use the CD Changer connection to play your MP3 player, then yes... there are various adapters you can buy that allows you to use your stock radio and CD changer connection to play and possibly operate your MP3 player (if it's an iPod).

there is something already hooked up to the head unit (sirus/ipod adaptor) as well as the cd player. if i have the cd player hooked up and working, how do i make the head unit play the mp3 player? there has to be a way i would think. the 6-disc was with the car when i bought it, and he had the mp3 player/sirus hooked up as well.
my old cd player, i actually hit an AUX or SOURCE button that cycled through the modes, allowing me to play the mp3 player through the head unit. i do not see anything like this on the stock head unit.

Hmmmm.... I think it was like $75 shipped. And I sat on it for awhile. What sucks now is that I have a holes in my trunk. I still need to get a new trunk liner.
