Default FL KW LHT C38-81 Supercharger 06-09 kit - USED $2800 shipped

BLACK EDITION $2800 shipped
Location:
Orlando, FL
Means of Contact: PM or text (4O7)283-74six two, Marlon
Description: This is a used kit installed by LHT on my CR at 37366 miles and removed by LHT at 42737 miles, so the kit has approximately 5371 miles from 10/26/2018 to 4/15/2021 (proof in the pictures' file names). This is an incomplete kit in terms of the hardware like some bolts and tubes. Some of them were reused for my new build. I have taken pictures of the provided bolts, some are ARP bolts, for those who are curious. Otherwise, I've included a KW stock picture from their website with what I've noticed are missing as best as I can. The results were 403 whp/258 ft-lbs at ~14.4 psi. LHT dynoed it before removal and told me it produced 420 (nice) whp, so it's broken in.

Plenty of concerns over the KW/Rotrex kit in these forums understandably, but I can only provide my experience with it. It did have a loud belt whine initially, but it softened A LOT after about 1000 miles and still sounds like a fast & furious jet in higher RPMs with a satisfying blow off. I had ZERO issues with this kit and LHT tune. Everything started up and ran smoothly, no hesitations or CELs. I was tuned with the rev limiter at 8400 rpm and I never had the balls to redline that; I've reached maybe 7500-7600 rpms. Never tracked and if anything, I drive overly safe sticking to mostly 2500-5500 rpm 80% of the time, not exactly utilizing the CR's potential, I know. In fact, I initially requested LHT to tune me to just 330-350 whp, but Esther convinced me that I didn't have to use all of it. Overall, the kit performed well and did its job.

I can include a used AEM 30-4900 Wideband Fail-Safe gauge. Never installed with me, but I had bought it years ago from another S2ki member. I'll do my best to individually wrap the parts and box them up if shipped.

Box can be included if you want.

Last picture I took driving with the KW kit.

I was also want to add that the Rotrex fluid was still light, sky blue. And I recommend anyone boosted to install an ETD (Engine Torque Damper), I had the PuddyMod/NRG combo with clearance.

So the stuff circled in red is what is missing from the kit? (Reused on your new project)

So thats the injectors, fuel pump (which are typical for a used kw kit), the recirculation valve, all the charge piping and the ic? (Not so typical)

You've also circled the rotrex oil filter, which is seen in the photos, so guessing that is included.

FYI, searching through old fs posts for kw kits without ic and charge pipes, these have been losted for between $1700 and $2200. That yours has such a low mile head unit is and that LHT did all the work probably helps boost the value.

Yes, what's circled is missing. However, I couldn't tell what was above the injectors in the stock photo. If that's the Rotrex oil filter, then that's included. LHT uses the Walbro fuel pump as we know, but I don't recall the fuel pump from KW being given, just my OEM one.

The C38-81 unit alone is $2400+, so for $1700-2200 they must've been played with, driven hard and possibly not using an OEM VTEC solenoid gasket as recommended by everyone except KW (gasket pictured). I've looked through the old posts too for a starting price point. Most complete kits including bolts/etc., KW or SOS, were on sale for $4000+ with shipping here, and I'm including the AEM wideband and shipping. Plus, with LHT bolting it together, everything is torqued properly which is why I don't want to disassemble everything completely.

Definitely not a starter kit. The audience for the ad is not for the first-time boosters, it's for those who are already boost-savvy so to speak. And if you're already a veteran, you'd likely be upgrading the injectors, fuel pump, custom pipes, etc. anyways. This would be an excellent condition replacement unit too.

I appreciate the feedback!

Edits: included KW pricing, wording, punctuation, everything I deserve for not proofreading
