For those who don't know the fees for this years event have been greatly reduced however the "Goodies" have as well.
Seems some people were questioning the costs and this reduction in fees and goodies offered was the result. Personally I would rather have the goodies (Saturday lunch, magnet, shirt, name badge, lanyard, etc.) but this is the way we roll.

EVENT DETAILS
April 17th (Thursday) - For those who'd like to attend earlier are more than welcome! We'll have some lightly organized drives around the area to include the Dragon, Fontana Dam, Hwy 28's Hellbender, Cherohala Skyway, Joyce Kilmer National Forest drive and Happy Valley.
Lunch - on your own
Dinner - on your own
April 18th (Friday) - Event itinerary available when you register at Fontana Village Resort. Enjoy some great driving around the Fontana area to include the Dragon.
Lunch - on your own
Dinner - on your own, however we will have a reception BON FIRE at the softball field for ALL S2000 owners/enthusiasts
April 19th (Saturday) - Start the event day, we'll do our cermonial driver's meeting reminding folks NOT TO CROSS THE DOUBLE YELLOW LINE (or else batguano will post pictures of you on the internet ). We'll do our "monster roll" onto the Dragon, taking Hwy 28 to the Crossroads of Time... We'll enjoy a great day of Dragon Driving and lots of it. Your'e on your own for lunch (but don't fret - Deal's Gap, Fontana and Robbinsville have some great offerings). More driving and we'll have some organized "group" drives set up for folks (dare I say) who tire of the Dragon.
Lunch - on your own
Dinner - included with your registration; at Fontana Village (medley of good food choices...)
After dinner raffle (nothing settles a stomach better than winning a prize)
REGISTRATION COSTS
BASIC REGISTRATION (Driver or Passenger) - $27 (Each Attendee)
INCLUDES: Event t-shirt, lanyard with name tag (Real name and Screen name), Event magnet (for your S2000), Event Itinerary (what to do and where to go)Raffle ticket for Saturday's dinner (prizes), Dinner at Fontana Village on Saturday.

oh ... what the hell ... registered!
i don't know if i'll be going up on Thursday or not ... and it appears that my friends are no longer living there anymore ... but they did move back here!
So ... i guess i'll be looking for a place to stay at the last minute (as i'm on my way up probably) unless the house isn't sold yet and i can still stay there. Not sure yet.
Looking forward to the S2000 gathering though ... should be fun to be with everyone else.
