WTD 2008 Who's Going & Countdown

hey guys and girls, im usually apart of the SFL group but, would like to know when you guys are leaving to the dragon?
myself and a few others from sfl will be taking that week off and goin up ahead of time, i also have a place in North Carolina (Maggie Valley) about 45mins from deals gap.
i had mentioned to some of the sfl guys that my house can sleep 10+.

If I remember correctly last year we left on Thursday morning and drove to the very NE corner of Georgia and overnighted then drove in via some twisty roads Friday morning. Some of us stayed at Fontana Village and others had made arrangements like you have at a private cabin.
Our travel schedule for WTD 2008 is yet to be determined. As the event gets closer we will confirm who is attending and discuss when everyone wants to leave etc.
I know there was a good showing of South Florida S2KI folks at WTD this year and I am sure they will have a group going up in 08, it would be great if we could hook up for the drive up however I think they go straight up I-95 and we leave up I-75, perhaps the south Fl. group wants to take the turnpike and meet up with us in Ocala or we meet up in Georgia and drive together the second day in as larger group?
Keep tracking this thread and lets see what we can organize.
Btw, Nice Cabin, What would the cost per person be??

also the road up to the house is a private compact gravel road and it ends at the house so traffic wont be an issue nor would parking be either. im goin up on sunday for the holidays and im taking my car up so ill let you know how it makes it up the road.
