Why I love S2ki...
I originally came to S2ki for info on my new toy... What I found was a kind, patient, and understanding community of S2000 owners and enthusiasts... It was sooooooooo much different than any car site I'd ever been to, and it still is...
Initially, my visits were limited to UTH, S2000 talk, Wash and Wax, and S&S... but then I started browsing through the Florida forum... This led me to attend the meet at Shay's house, and I was hooked...
I have become friends with and come into contact with SO MANY PEOPLE because of this board... Whether it be a group drive, a party at Willie Gee's, a party at NVRQUIT's, or a weekly meet in Orlando....
Had I not joined I probably wouldn't have gotten as much into my S2k as I have...

The point of this entirely too lengthy post is to say, "Thanks Florida Forum...
"
You've entertained me, you've made me laugh, you've made me cry (alright, maybe not).... but you've all definitely made my life a little more fun.
Even though I'm pretty sure I've attended my last "Spirited Group Drive"... Not because I feel that I'm better than anybody, or am a better driver, but just because I've realized that I'm not willing to put myself in such a risky situation... I'll continue to attend weekly O-Town meets, crash Willie Gee's sweet pad, and go on fun drives by myself, and maybe a few others....
Maybe I'm getting old, maybe I'm just maturing, whatever... I don't look down on anyone that does continue to attend, though... I just ask that you be careful, and stay in control at all times. You're all cool people, and I don't ever want the Florida S2k community to have to go through something like the California community did, when they lost Travis (Dreamcation)...
