Smile Wholly Soft Top!

Yesterday, I noticed a very small wear hole in my soft top. I think there was a thread a while back about replacing a soft top locally. Can anyone share their soft top repacement/repair experiences with me...including price please!

If it's just a tiny barely noticeable hole I'd find a place to patch it from the inside.

If you're willing to do the work yourself (with a friend), expect something in the $500-$700 range for a new top from http://www.cabrioworld.com

For a pinhole, though, patch it and save the money and aggravation.

I thought I read a recent post that someone had a hole in his too. I think they got the dealer to replace it ... I think they split the cost/labor...

if you end up having to get a new top, check ebay for some aftermarket tops. never dealt with the seller but they have good feedback. the tops are around $450. they even offer 00-01 tops with glass in them.

I did the soft top replacement. Got my 01 glass rear window top from cabrioworld, did the install myself. I paid just under $800 for the top, and it took around 10 hours to install it myself. It's a PITA, but not too bad....

Hey guys, I noticed a tear in my top the other day too. First thought it was a break in attempt, but I realized that its just from wear. Its only an 04' and I find it really hard to believe that its wearing out. Does anyone think its covered under warranty? I've only got 21000 miles on her.

Heres a pic:
