Default Where to wash car

I just found out from another board that our cars should not be taken to automatic car washes since the high pressure water jets are bad for the convertible top plus the rish of getting our rims scraped. Is there a place that I can take my car and wash it myself???? There is a hand car wash place near me but they charge 12 and I generally like to wash twice a week. Itc an quickly add up. The reason I can't wash at my house it that I live in a condo where there is no garden faucet. Any suggestions. BTW I live in Aventura.

How much is it there??? Is there a place where u can just waash the car yourself. There are many places in the Northeast where you can use a self-serve car wash but there seems to be none in the Miami area. Any suggestions

Like about the same $12 but they are very good. I don't know of any self-wash places. I take my car there every weekend for the past 7 years. Never had a problem.

Ok there are 2 places I know that our hand wash yourself... One's in the Ghetto.. the other's in Ref Ville....

Ghetto: Off of I-95, Corner of NE 7th Ave (441) and N.E. 119th Street

Ref Ville (aka Hialeah): Off the Palmetto (W. 68th Street) 122nd Street at the Amaco Gas station on the Corner of W. 60th Street and W. 20th Ave.- This one is about $3.50 for water, and Shampoo... Vacuum Extra

I know 2 other GREAT places that wash your car for you ($10)-Hand wash, Both in Miami Lakes... One Lakes Car Wash & Wax 6782 N.W. 169th Street, off the palmetto, N.W. 67th Ave (north) 1st Light Left...
Other is on corner of 186th (Miami Grdns Dr) and 67th Ave
Exit Palmetto North to Miami Grds Drive (Sedano's Shopping Center)

if mav is talking about the place on US1 3 lights west of kendall DR, then that is probably the best car wash in all of south florida. I've never been to a place that I thought did an actual better job than I personally did, but they're right up there. Take my car there every single week. You'll commonly see 6 figure cars there, including this one Ruf 911 Turbo that I see every so often and drool over.
