Wheels
In attempt to comply with SCCA Solo2 rules, I am trying to find aftermarket wheels that meet the criteria. So far I have only found one manufacturer (TR) for wheels that are 17 x 7 and 17 x 8.5. with the correct offset.
So here are a few questions.
How much do the stock rims weight on a 2005?
Are there anyother wheels besides TR that are light and the correct dimensions?
Thanks for any help................Rich

My BBS rims are front 17 X 7.5 + 48 17.2 pounds and rear 17 X 8.5 +55 17.9 pounds. The rims are forged aluminum and are close to stock in size Fitment is right on and they look great too

according to tirerack, the TR's were produced for the reason you describe. specifically for people that needed to stay in stock class.
honestly, i don't know of any aftermarket wheel (besides TR) that match OEM specs. you could spend more money and order custom stuff like HRE/Forgeline. but then there might be rules regarding multi piece wheels??
call Jim at tirerack, he might have some ideas.
