I have mixed opinions about all of this. On one hand, I'm OK with fragmenting the state - I mean no offense but I was glad to fragment the S. Florida folks away from the club forum I use on a daily basis. If I plan a trip down there I take a look at what's happening. Otherwise - they're on their own with their local friendships and daily rant. (again, no offense, look at our ranting here) If there was a ton of traffic coming from the N. Florida area then that may make sense too. I just don't see all the forum traffic like from our friends in the south.
So I fall back to my old saying - If it ain't broke, dont fix it.
Peace to our brothers in the North and the South.

I'm of the opinion of Joser. I dont know if there is enough traffic to warrant setting up a separate forum. Look at some of the other community forums which have nearly zero traffic.
I don't even know if another CO is needed. I mean we have 165 members, and 3 COs. I'm sure any of the COs would gladly put stickies up for meets or events in the other areas. You just need to ask.

My $.025.
If the state were fragmented, it would have to be into three sections, not two. Florida's largest city is Jacksonville*, but the largest metro area is Tampa*. So does Tampa go with the north or the south? North leaves Miami by itself, south puts 2/3 of Florida's population and probably its S2000's in the south. Maybe we should just pick Tampa up and move it a hundred miles north.
Make that my $.030.
