We took that excuse to turn it into mom and dad's near 2 week vacation. Something that hasn't happened in 5 years. Kids are staying with the grandparents! Schweeet!

Raven - good to know. Luckily we should be with family 90%+ of the time so the tab shouldn't be bad but we definitely plan on visiting a few of the local pubs during our adventure. Not a golfer but plan on visiting St. Andrews just to say I have. Hopefully Loch Ness, William Wallace's memorial, etc. too.
JG and WG - thanks for the well wishes. We're in St. Pete right now and will head to TIA later this afternoon. So far everything is "on time" so hopefully we'll be in Glasgow in about 24 hours. Definitely lots of pics WG. We have two 256 memory sticks, charger, etc. As long as we don't go gokart racing and Sandy tries to leave the camera in her lap we'll be ok ('04 Super Meet reference for those who were there).
See you guys!

Whew!!!
Just got back in Florida earlier this morning. Butt is dragging but thought I'd check in real quick. I'll get some pics posted ASAP but we had a great time. Sandy's family over there was amazing. Could not have met nicer people. The scenery was something I'll never forget as well. Not to mention the frequency of pubs and whisky distilleries. Fun had by all and would highly recommend it. Plus, if you ever have the opportunity to go to a Scottish wedding...GO! Kilt and all baby.
