Default We're outta here!

Well Sandy and I are finally gearing up to fly out Friday for our vacation in Scotland. We're actually heading over for a family wedding in Glasgow. Her dad's side is from the area. We took that excuse to turn it into mom and dad's near 2 week vacation. Something that hasn't happened in 5 years. Kids are staying with the grandparents! Schweeet!

Lots of family for me to meet, sites I've never seen considering I've never really traveled, and just plain getting away from the office.

Hopefully Northwest will keep up the good work considering the mechanics strike and the weather back here won't wipe our place away in our absence. We'll be sure to drink plenty and share lots of pics when we return.

I'm in Detroit now and things at Northwest are pretty normal. The mechanics messed up a lot of equipment on their way out but most of it is fixed and flights are going as advertised. Especailly the international ones.

I'm glad you are going Northwest. We need all the business we can get to stay out of Bankruptcy. Enjoy the trip.

Let me know when you are coming through Detroit or Minni and if I am there then I will put in a word with the crew. Perks!

Charles you are da' man and thank you so much for helping me out with my leaky tire situation and talking to me about Stage 6. I definitely want to hook up with those guys later this year to inspect the car, let me know if anything needs work, and then hopefully set up a plan to make it more track worthy. Thanks again and I would highly recommend anyone needing tires in the Jax area to contact Charles. Great guy, great service, great prices...plus he's one of us.

You and Sandy have a great trip. Will be looking for lots of pics. Watch the water, child #3 could be on the way, it seems to happen on long vacations, LOL. Vic

Jeff - we're flying into Detroit from Tampa this Friday night and then we fly back into Detroit on Labor Day from Amsterdam if that helps any. Not sure of the exact times off the top of my head. Sandy takes care of those types of things. She's the brains behind the operation. I think we have a small lay over each time. I should have my cell on (904)703-6059 if you're around during those time frames.

Don - will definitely take lots of pics. We even bought an extra memory stick for the trip. Thanks.

Nick - thanks and definitely look forward to catching up soon. It's been forever since we last hooked up. Would love to see how your car has transformed in person. Pls tips on building a more track worthy car is a goal for 2006. Safety - both occupancy (roll bars, etc.) and mechanical (engine, etc.) are paramount on the list. My goal is to eventually get a daily that can haul the S to CMS events a few times per year but still keep the S as street legal fun day car.

Vic - I'm sure we'll have some extra "fun" on the long vacation but baby #3 better not happen considering I was snipped right after #2 was born. Given all the problems we had with that pregnancy we figured enough was enough. 2 great kids, 1 boy, 1 girl, snip away. No fun that week but no worries since. Git'r done!!!!

See ya guys. We'll head to St. Pete later today and then fly out Friday around 5ish as I recall. Keep up the good work Northwest!!!!!!!

Enjoy your stop in Glasgow. Just watch out for the scotts, if they say we take turns buying the rounds, just pay your own. Cause if you do, you will have one large check. If you golf you are near the Holy Grail of golf courses. Just make sure to take a rain coat for over there. It is either raining, just stopped raining, or is going to rain. But most of all, Enjoy those Pints!!!
