Thumbs up Vortech SC Install assistance? Can anyone help?

Posted before but can't find it and this search doesn't work so gonna post again.

I have a Vortech SC kit I want to put on my car.
I bought it as a partial kit but have pieced together most of the items I need.
I have all the hardware for the bracket and all. Might be missing some hardware for mounting the heat exchanger and fmu etc but I would think all of that can be gotten at a hardware store.

I would prefer to not bring it to a shop so I can work on it too and see how the stuff goes on and all.
I of course could pay some money but trying to not spend too much on the install as I want to do some of it myself I just don't have a garage or anything and hardly any tools available at all.
Please let me know if anyone is willing to do the install with me. I do not have any experience with the install however.
I could pay some cash and beers/drinks and food and all.
Let me know if anyone is willing. Thanks--Ryan.

Yes it does require tapping the oil pan. I would probably bring my car to a shop before to have the oil pan tapped since I also need the banjo bolts installed.
So wouldn't have to worry about that. I would be willing to travel some distance for sure. Not too picky. Just will suck if I am missing a bunch of stuff and get stranded with no running car lol.

I am too far away. However I would suggest that you download the install manual form the vortech site, and confirm which parts you have, and which parts you need.

Then assemble the missing parts, and pick a weekend to do the install. I change the oil drain line to use AN fitting, and had an AN fitting drilled and welded to the oil pan. Then you can get an AN cap and seal it off if need be.

Good luck with the install, it takes patience and is a lot of fun to do

PS, before you install the blower, send it back to vortech and have it checked. I had to send mine back in after it was installed and it was a pita, and the car was down for a month while I waited to get it back

Hey. Yeah I have gotten the parts list and read through the manual. I was missing tons of parts as I bought the kit incomplete. I bought all new mounting hardware for bracket, new feed line, all new couplers and clamps, fuel line, vacuum lines fuel pump etc.
I am sure I am missing some little bolts for mounting like heat exchanger etc. but I bet most of that stuff can be gotten at home depot or at least I am hoping so.
Do you know if vortech is honest mostly? Or would they just say it needs a rebuild to get money from me? There is no shaft play what so ever but I know it could still leak oil or something which would suck.

Hey where you located? Possibly do it in Jacksonville but still looking before deciding anything.
Think it is missing some little parts so would be best if someone knew what might be missing. Think just hardware to mount things like heat exchanger fmu etc. Everything else I should have.
