I freakin' idle by every cop I see! They could probably pull me because of the FMIC / open wastegate, though...

I mainly just try to avoid driving like a retard (my car is relatively quiet due to the turbo, probably quieter than stock at idle (deeper tone, but not as loud)).

I ran my 70mm single with a test pipe for about a week before I went turbo, and it was retarded loud! Sounded like an F1 car when under WOT. VERY loud without the silencer at idle.

I will take it to court, maybe you can take some photos of the car with stock exhaust and get the ticket waived. I think this is like tint on your window or broken headlights, show it is fixed and "good bye ticket" I will give it a try. My 0.02

not sure if this is in Fl yet, but in Ca cops now don't even need a db reader, its all under the judgment of the cop.

you know you have a illegal exhaust, its made for off-road use only... Pay the fine and be done with it. It's happened to me many times back in Nazi-Cali, pay to play
in CA they can ticket u for speeding too without even proving with radar, etc.... even my intake was illegal there. u cant have SQUAT done to ur car there exhaust tickets were really common. alot of manufacturers have to issue db readings so this is ur best bet if ur going to fight this. find out from the exhaust manufacturer what the db readings are at various ranges. if its within the legal limit, u can take that to fight ur ticket with. if its not, well then just pay it and get it over with. its not a moving violation and its not legal anyways.

but ya... there are bikes that are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY worse than we EVER could be and they dont get ticketed ever.
