No, I don't. My karma ran over my dogma long ago.

All is well here. I was without electricity from about 3:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The tornado missed me by a couple of miles.

Got called in early to work myself. Luckily it looks like my area got through without any kind of significant damage.

All is good here. Just a lot of yard trash to be cleaned up this weekend. Hope everyone else is doing OK.

i'm leaving here and meeting a friend with emergency management on the way back through. I told him to bring me a suit and I'd help if they need it. Otherwise I may be with a friend in search and rescue taking pictures on the back of his quad (no ... not his thigh lol). I'll post here if I get anything that isn't too crazy.

about mobile home parks - one thing to keep in mind is that most trailer parks that suffer the most damage are ones that were manufactured more than 10 years ago, never had 'hurricane' straps installed, are small footprint single-wide models, and never took the axles out to lower the stance.

Some people (engineer types) say that frame homes can sustain better than block homes because they 'give' with the pressure. In the end ... it's still more than 100mph winds ... so regardless of the structure - you can find me in the ditch!!

My friends backyard. The tornado hit his house. Note the roofs in the background.
