Well guys, early this morning between the hours of 3 A.M. and 8 A.M. some ASSHOLE slashed the hell outta my soft top to steal stuff outta my car. THANK GOD he wasn't smart enough to get my seats! I'm not touching anything until the cops get any prints off of everything, but I can already see the contents of my glove box spilled out onto the seats.

It looks like they made their rounds through the neighborhood as well. A couple others got their cars broken into and my other neighbor's truck was stolen outright.

Well my insurance will cover the expenses after five hundred dollars.... I shoulda got a more expensive policy!

There are two separate slashes spanning almost the whole width of the roof, its pretty huge.

Any idea how much a replacement soft top is going to cost? I've got an 02 w/ glass window.

At least I got a new sunroof.

 

These assholes will pay one day.

 

That sucks, but at least they were dumbasses and left you your seats so you can still drive!

A robbins replacement top is about $700-800 online, and probably a few hundred more to get installed. Dealer costs are going to be about 2 grand if you go back with stock.

Looks like these thieves did not know the value of the seats. Because of the random hit on others in the neighborhood. Still sucks though.

Keep it on the low, but myself and my Irish-Mafia friend are setting up appointments with some people pimping seats for sale in the Tampa.
We will take what is mine and if they have a problem------call the cops.
