Default Test Pipes

I'm considering a test pipe for my car, But I wanted to know which one will be the best? and if you can go to a local muffler place and have them create a test pipe for you! and does it always trigger the check engine light on? how much HP do you gain with it. Also who as a test pipe in their S2000?

Any kind of exhaust by itself on an s2000 isn't gonna give you anymore than 5 or so hp no matter what anybody says. If you plan on doing alot of future mods the test pipe is probably the best way to go. If you know what you're doing it's easy to get past the O2 sensor problem so the CEL doesn't come on. Unless you know how to make one yourself, then you have to go to a good shop that'll do it for you.

Hey Chris. It 's Alex I saw you Friday of last week. The speed test pipe is good. You have an advantage. You can get the o2 senor range from the Honda manual so your check engine light wont go on.

F1S2000 "Alex" tell me where you got your test pipe! does your check engine light show up? Alex the way you pulled on me was incredible, even though I'm pushing those Big Beautiful HRE wheels

Your check engine light goes on but you work at Honda so on the s2000 service manual it shows you the o2 sensor range to add a resistor. If you can get me the range I can help fix the check engine light from going on.

No I don't Chris. But my buddy Javy who works at Brickell Honda was supposed to get it but I haven't heard from him. The light goes on but I rest the computer by unplugging the fuse and putting back in to rest the check engine light.

Chris ask him if he can give you a copy of the o2 sensor range. It is in the service manual for the s2000
