Uh,
I don't think Nick is going to let us borrow his camera set up. It seemed pretty intense. I'd love to set one up on my own, using his advice and techniques. Didja know he had four cameras mounted on his car? One was mounted near his rear axle shooting behind him.
As far as my camera is concerned it lasts a typical length of time (a few hours). I've got two batteries for it though.
Like I said, it's nothing fancy, just a typical Sony Digital Handycam. But you are more than welcome to it.

Dave, I have a camera mount you can borrow. It clamps on the bar in the upper "glove box". So, that clam-shell will remain open while you're taping, but it works well. I've taped dozens of autocross runs with it and it's more stable than the nice mount I have now (replaces the windscreen). I would suggest an external mic, also. You'll only get a bunch of wind noise from the intergrated one.
PM me if you need it.

I'll have my DVC video camera Dave. Only problem is to see yourself you have to be in front of me I have plenty of storage (2gig of memory stick Pro, and about 5 DVC tapes) about 15 hours of filming under the highest res. I think it would be cool if I got a video of each one in the Fl group running the Dragon (from behind of course). I bought a camera mount from Nick, quick release all aluminum and it's very stable and SC tested

Thanks!
Bill, we'll have an extra camera mount, maybe we'll hook your camera up in your car?

Does anyone have video / pics of the camera mount by the tire, or at least some links.
I've been experimenting with a camera mounted in the grill, and its been interesting.
I'm expecting (hoping) to be ready for the Dragon as well.
