alright i bought my 2001 s2k with 11,000 miles on it in 2005. 2 weeks after i bought it i had issues with my fifth gear synchros. the problem got to the point that i couldn't even get the car into fifth gear. luckily i bought the car with a extended warranty and they put in a used trans with 20,000 miles on it. well roughly 15,000 miles later i am starting to feel the beginning stages of the fifth gear synchro problem again. i know they put a differnt tranny in because i knew the techs who did the work and they showed me the old tranny and synchros.

is this a common problem? i am the only person that i have ever heard have this problem. also are there any honda dealerships that will give me a loaner car and are somewhat reputable. age may play a problem with the loaner since i have seen some dealerships say 21 and some say 25 years of age....i am 24.

There was an existing issue with the second gear syncro but i haven't heard anything about the 5th gear one...
