This is probably a noob question, but how do you not get confused on where your driving... all those cones everywhere; i wouldn't know if i was going the right way!

Once you go out there, and walk the course and see the map ahead of time, it really does make sense after a little while... just watching the video with no idea of what the map actually looks like, it IS hard to see whats going on... but wehen you're there and actually driving it, its a lot different

Me too, quite entertaining! Was that your fast run Ron?

Like Ron said, you get used to it after awhile. I occasionally don't even walk the course and just do the first run a little slower. Autocross courses always have similar course elements so once you are familiar with what they normally look like you can pick them out. IMO the way this course was coned, it looked a LOT worse than it should have looked. For a first time event, brooksville can be a good one to go to since it's an old runway, you look ahead naturally, that's the hardest thing to learn, you should not be looking at the course right in front of the car, but ahead of where the car is currently at so you don't miss part of the course and go off course.
