Not always, I got last place the first time I autocrossed my S2000. It had about 800 miles on it, I think I was afraid of breaking the diff and other stuff after reading S2KI. I got over that quickly enough I've autocrossed every vehicle I've owned since 1999 or so, granted I stopped from 2002 until 2006 but.. I'm def not a national level driver IMO.

What are you driving now anyways? NSX?
Yes, I would like to find a old EF to build up for auto x though.

Nice EF's can be fun I sometimes miss autocrossing FWD, but then my Integra oversteered more than my S does

I may start autocrossing a Fit once the S is sold, probably will buy a Fit just to have something cheap/reliable to drive to the ITR Expos and other longer distance track events. Assuming our LeMons car lasts through this weekend I'll have a Civic (DX hatch with a VX motor) "race" car to run anytime I go near the SC/NC area. Will probably turn the GS-R into a dedicated track car once I replace it with a new daily driver. Need to dump my SE-R.

So when are you autocrossing the NSX.. I don't think I've ever actually seen one autocross before.

Ok Ron I was going to challenge you to the next FAST autocross but now that I see that you beat Dave.. uhh.. I may need a few more auto-x's to sharpen "teh skills". Anyways I will be at the next one. Does anyone know the specific day that they open registration for these events or does it just randomly open a few weeks before? I hate missing these things because they fill up so quickly!

One month prior to the autocross, to the day.
