SW Fla. BBQ #2 new date 3/11/12!
Attention!!!!!!! New date see below!!!!!!!
We will be having our second SWF S2k BBQ at the Sanibel causeway in Fort Myers on Sunday, March 11 from 9-4 There are a few grills on site, and I will be bringing my little portable with me. There are also rest room facilities at locations 1 & 2. If the weather is good we'll bring out the Skis and maybe get some tubing action going as well. We will be focusing on area 1 as of right now unless theres a strong showing of people interested in fishing during the day. In which case areas 2 and 3 are more optimal for that. Please chime in here if you plan on attending so we can have an accurate list of how many vehicles to expect so I can arrange the proper amount of people to meet me there early as to block off our parking section. They do not allow for reserved areas but they have told me in the past that theres nothing they can say about blocking off parking by use of a sideways car. Down south attendees: I need a few people to help me early and not do the group drive so we can reserve the spots.

As last time we will be asking for people to do what's right and offer to bring at least something. I'll have burgers and maybe some empanadas on lockdown hence the reason to RSVP so I can make sure we have enough. So we will need other things like hot dogs, side dishes, condiments, foil for the grills, napkins, paper plates and plastic utensils, drinks/cups, (keep in mind that this is a lee county park and they do not allow alcoholic beverages. Now they are pretty cool if you have your bottled & canned beer in a coozie. But if you bring beer please do us all the favor and bring something to cover it or cups.)
Sorry I didn't catch all that in the original post. Though I know that now that it's laid out there as it not being a "free lunch" a lot of people won't come but it's only fair you bring something.

hey Jeff, ya wwant to put a list together in the original post , people can chime in with items they will bring?? As people chime in with their items names can be placed beside them to let everyone know what is covered
