ok ... so now there is a Street Tire class ... cool

now, what is the concensus about which 'street tire' with the approved 140 treadwear rating (and DOT standard) is the best? Bridgestone RE01R's, Dunlop Star Specs, Falken Azenis 615rt, ect

Is there an approved list for this class/tire?

no worries ... i have a an extra set of wheels and a trailer now ... so i can switch out at the track

But, i've read some threads that say each tire manufacturer is allowed to rate the treadwear within their own standards (internally) and that means that not each 140 treadwear tire is as 'sticky' as the others.

Are the Dunlops the 'stickiest' for the 140 treadwear?
