[QUOTE=ComposiMo,Oct 24 2008, 10:35 AM] Actually it would likely be the opposite... for the same reason that a Street Mod (SM) car IS allowed to run in Street Mod 2 (SM2) but an SM2 car cannot compete in SM...

Is there a class for a Triumph GT6 with a AP2 power plant?

simple really Radio,

STU2 would allow you to run on street tires against other cars on street tires.

Otherwise you'd be classed with a race tire class. (race tires are worth an average of 2 seconds on a 40 second course) So... if you're just getting started STU2 allows you to do so without spending a thousand bucks or so, just to compete.

Bill, are you still not going to run State? You guys should have enough to get a supplemental class. Like I said, I know of a 350Z driver (my brother) that would love the competition. He was co-driving (supposedly) my STi at last weekend's event, and he was missing his Z the entire time. He was happy to see you guys sticking to the street tires. My AWD and new tires' tread squirm proved to be too much for him (me too on the tires), but he felt he could have mixed it up nicely with you four. It will be fun.

if terry agrees with STU2 there's a good chance i will show on Sunday...

but I cannot do it otherwise. I've got plans that I will cancel, and it looks to be a really really good time. I'd hate to leave hot tubs full of bikini clad women to lose a race.
