Really sucks My Spa is a daily driver - I don't know what I would do if some %$#^% lifted my seats. Then to have to deal with a poor excuse for an insurance company...

Your Insurance Company is taking you for a ride. I work in claims and that is some BS if I ever heard it. They are not able to apply "Betterment" in that situation. Paint and other wear-able parts are different.
Dude, call the FL Dept of Financial Services consumer helpline and make a complaint. That will get things moving for you.
What Insurance Company is it?

Not to be negative or anything... but, those seats locks don't look like anything that would be too hard to defeat... I mean, obviously if the theif dosn't have the proper tools (vise grips) then they couldn't take them, but you're still going to have a slashed top, and going to have to make a ins claim.
I guess the best measure might just be to start leaving the doors unlocked, or the top down, with the seat locks, and hope they don't know how to defeat them...
JK
I'm still trying to get my ins co to cut a check... Since I am having the top replaced at a local shop instead of the dealership, they need the check first to order the top and start work. (I am retrofitting MY 01 w/ a MY 02 glass window top, and the stealership doesn't do that sort of thing, at least the one I called)
So, almost 2 1/2 wks since vandelism, and my S2000 is still sitting....

I just wanted to add a little additional info for all you other guys with S2000's. The shop were I am getting my top replaced @ wanted to let me know that they talked around a little, and they've heard of 5 other S2000's in the Tampa Bay area that have their seats stolen... (within the last 3 wks) So once again... If you don't park in a garage @ night... you might want to keep a close eye on your baby!
