Default Southeast S2000 Meet!

There is a S2000 meet set for August 31, 2014 at Barber Motorsports Park

There will be an SCCA Double Regional race going on all day...meaning cars will be on track all day from: Spec Miata's, Spec Racer Fords, Hondas, American Muscle Cars, Open Wheeled cars, you name it..."That being said, SCCA does charge for their races. Barber has worked with my friend, Cheyenne, and have reached a discounted ticket price for us. Tickets will be at 50% off($5) per guest. We will make a flyer for you guys to show upon entry to the park that will allow this discounted rate. This will allow entry to the park, parking and access to the paddock area.

This S2000 meet is NOT a track day, we are simply hanging out and spectating the races.
Parking for those arriving in an S2000 will be in the "FAN ZONE". There will be someone directing parking so that it looks clean and organized.
Separate parking will be arranged for the ones wishing to attend the event but do not bring an S2000.

I would like for everyone attending the event to be there by noon so we have a good count and can get started.
IF YOU DON'T ARRIVE BY NOON, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY NOT BE ABLE TO PARK WITH US AND PARK ELSEWHERE.

As far as food and drinks go:
You may bring grills, coolers, food, alcohol ect.

Please remember we are guest of Barber and act according.
This is your ONLY WARNING:
DO NOT race down the road to the gate.
DO NOT rev your motors (I don't care how loud you car is).
DO NOT burnout, drift or anything you think you shouldn't be doing.
If you think this is a "get drunk and look at s2k's event" this is not the event for you....
If I or the event manager at Barber feels you are out of line once in the park, there will be no warning. .You will be asked to leave immediately.

When arriving, please show this flyer at the gate, it will get you a 50% discount on tickets to the event for the day. With the discount, single day tickets are just $5 and weekend tickets are $10. Be sure to show either an electronic copy or a hard copy of this flyer at the ticket window to claim your discount. On behalf of the Barber Motorsports Park and ZOOM Motorsports, we're excited to have everyone out to enjoy a great day admiring the beautiful S2000 as well as some SCCA racing action. If anyone has any questions about the facility or racing action taking place that weekend, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Thanks in advance for your support

And i might not be in Ocala yet, I was supposed to start work the 25th, but they had to change my start date to Sept 2, but I may move in a couple of weeks before then, so we shall see.

Congrats on the new to you S

Barber is a beautiful place even if you are not into cars the grounds, plant life, and rolling hills are a must see. It's not a bad drive and I am thinking about going.

Thanks. I live in Gulf Breeze, FL up in the Panhandle area. I actually raced at Barber twice this year already, once in a LeMons Mustang, and once in my BMW SpecE30. It is a great track, and a great facility.
