question about paint
i just ordered a catch can off of ebay for 20 bucks. i want to paint it grand prix white to match my car. what is the best way to go about getting the right color of paint? what ckind of paint do i need to use on this?

GO TO CAR QUEST THAT HAS A BODY PAINT SUPPLY AND THEY CAN HELP U OR CALL A BODY SHOP IN YOUR TOWN AND ASK THEM WHO THEY GET THERE SUPPLIES FROM AND CALL THEM... ONE THING ARE YOU WANTING TO DO IT YOURSELF?? OR YOU CAN CALL A INDEPENDENT BODY SHOP (FAMILY OWNED) AND THEY MAY DO THAT KIND OF STUFF. ANYMORE QUESTIONS PM ME I WORK AT A BODY SHOP IN SARASOTA/BRADENTON AREA.

I say go this route and buy a decent amound of the Honda paint. That way you can color match other things down the road. Make sure you mount the catch can in a relatively "cool" place in the engine bay. i dont know how tough our paints are up against high heat.

If it is alumimun you may need some stuff called Bull dog that helps the paint adhear to the surface. You can go to Napa and they can make your paint in a spray can. Just make sure that if you prime the surface don't use enamel primer like you get at Home Depot for urethane paint. Napa or any paint place like Finish Masters can help you with this.
