Default Power Out!

Dont know about some of you but there was a massive power outtage from North Miami all the way down to the Keys. Anyone here loose power further that or close by aswell as me

In Golden Glades area... it flickered but it's on. Friends in Gables and Hialeah have no power.

understand there are intermittent power outs through out the state due to some kind of power transmission issue..

reason..unknown at this time..

We took a big hit here, but we stayed online. The plant next to ours got kicked off. We're still trying to get answers from Teco as to what exactly happened

My various FPL sources say, two generators went out in turkey point... Effectively causing spotty blackouts from the keys to north florida.

Its coming back bit by bit as rerouting occurs. A big outtage for no storm.

I was watching the news from miami online and FP&L was quoted as saying "a mjor transmission line failure caused the outage".

Must have taken out a few units, we just got the call to start our 3rd unit.

Not just down south. Up here in Tampa too. Pinellas, Pasco and other counties.
