We also need to think about parking for 30 some-odd cars, and/or a trailor or two for the open wheel guys!
naynay, best I remember there was plenty of room for parking at the lodge.

The 2004 schedule is finally up:

A Miata club is going to the track March 13th, so I asked them about renting costs. Here is what they said:

For 'Test and Tune' days, you can have up to 12 cars but only 3 cars at a time on the track. For weekdays, 10 cars @ $1000 and 12 cars for $1200. No additional insurance or ambulance needed for 'Test and Tune' days.

12 cars work out nicely because you can create 4 groups of 3 cars to rotate the time slot.

To run a full track day event would double the cost for weekend date. The cost will include ambulance crew cost. Your organization can provide a proof of insurance or I believe you can purchase insurance. Most groups seems to gather around 30-40 cars @ $100 each for track day event.

However, for the most accurate information, I would suggest calling Dave back and asking him direct.

also, double check that the s2000 is cleared on that track. some tracks won't let you run without a solo I approved rollbar.... we have this problem at NPR (the local track)
