Part out or not to part out?
hi yall. I love my car but its about time i start saving up for a new place. My car is a 2002 with 60k miles. Supercharged with lots of goodies. Im debating if its worth it to part out or not to part out. What would you do?

If you are going to sell your car, then yes. Aftermarket items do not increase the value of your car usually. You would be better off putting it back to stock and selling all the other to the vultures that will be swarming soon. Good luck with whatever you decide.

part out will net you more money.
If you sell it out right to a private buyer you will not make much money at all on the aftermarket and if you sell to an autoway type place they will simply take it back stock and either sell the parts to one of their employees or throw away the aftermarket parts.
you might as well put in the wrench time and make some money yourself instead of losing it.

I was leaning on parting out, but dont really have time to deal with the hassle. I'll let you guys know. Look out for a FS thread in the next coming months.
With the insurance money that i save from NOT driving the S, i can buy a new lcd tv every six months!!! That was one of the determining factors of getting rid of the car btw. lol.
