Oil change
I rarely drive my s2000 since its my weekend car now. Do you guys still change the oil every 3 months? I would say i drive it 10 miles a week average.
I'm going to change my oil for both vehicles for the first time, since i have a garage to do so. Do I need a tool to get the oil filter off? With my truck, I dont have to lift it up. With the s2000, I know I'm not small enough to squeeze under the car. I dont think jacking it up and making the car uneven is a good way to do my oil change. Is that right?

jack it up even if you can, or favor the driver's side. No special tools required.
I don't change my oil at mileage or time intervals, instead I change my oil when it begins to get black. I drive my car hard sometimes, other times, it is my weekend cruiser.
The color of the oil never lies.

remember you will need a new crush washer for the drain plug.
If you only drive the car 10 miles a week, that can be worse for it than everyday driving. Because the car barely reaches normal operating temperature, condensate can build up in the oil and cause acid formation. I would say that 3-4 months would be acceptable for that kind of driving.

Eh I'm not a believer in the color of the oil thing, neither are people on oil forums. I've had very very dark oil come back fine on UOAs. and slightly discolored dino come back sheared to 20WT..
An oil filter wrench to fit the honda filter is "required", new crush washer for the drain plug.

interesting to note. Thanks Dave. My oil is changed well under the 3K mark, and it's always with Mobil1. So I probably over do it, which for me is par for the course.

NP, I'm doing about 5K OCIs now with Amsoil, I'll have to post my next UOA once I change the oil (this weekend probably). Need to send in my LE diff and OEM tranny fluids too
And my 7000+mile Integra change
On the oil color note, my 5000 mile amsoil looks a shade or two darker than it did when brand new, and that's with multiple autocrosses and such

I guess the next question is what oil and oil filter should i use? This is probably one of those questions where it is just up to me and as long as i meet the manual standards. Any suggestion would help.

I use Mobil1 and K&N filter. Works for me.
I use mobil1 in the diff, as per Billman's advice, and redline in the tranny. I will switch the tranny to Amsoil though.
