Nasa Fl has an event 4/30-5/1 at PBIR. I should have the car ready for that one.
I may not be able to do an event that soon this year, but I am going to try to make it to one with them this year.

Does NASA require a roll bar for the s2000?

I was told that as long as you pass the broom stick test, with stock roll hoops, you'll be okay to run with NASA.

Im not sure about the Rollbar issue anymore with the S, I know that Rene (ProspectS) added a hardog recentlly to run with TTB. I think he mentioned that they were giving him crap over the hoops. It was a bit of a red flag to me, although there are still tons of stock S's out at NASA events. I doubt that they would outright not let you run although you might have to convince them a bit.

The roll bar thing is highly suggested, but from what I hear not exactly manditory in Florida. I know NASA Southeast will give you crap without a roll bar.

NASA National has accepted the S2000 as an aproved stock roll over protection car however you need to take a copy of the page of the website with that statement on it to the track because they give me trouble everytime i run. A racetrack oficial can deny you access to the track wether NASA lets you run or not. I got a Hard Dog to run Chin Motorsports this year so i look forward to no questions asked by NASA. BTW keep a cool head when pleading your case about the stock roll hoops in the tech line because they will get pissed if you get an attitude. Get a roll bar anyway though so you can run Chin, because they go to Sebring way more often not to mention Road Atlanta.

Anyway Ill be at Chin Motorsports Sebring April 9th
NASA Homestead May 14-15
And as many more as i can

Good thread idea!
So far I am only signed up for Sebring with Chin March 26th.

Mostly stock, just XP10/XP8 pads and fluid. Running StarSpecs also, 225/255.
Alignment set to: -1.5 and -2.1 camber. I forget my toe...
Its been a nice setup thus far.

So is the event this weekend still on? My neighbor was supposed to attend a BMW event this weekend and it got canceled. Can people just come out to watch much like it is for Autox. Can you provide a link Toekneeg?! I want to come check it out!

Yes, the event is still on.. Rain or shine.. Unless there is a major storm they do not stop.

You can go spectate, walk around the pits... It's always fun to watch.. even more so to race!
