Default new owner, searching for good service

Ive had my car for almost 3 months i bought it used with 10k. since then i ve had my transmission rebuilt and my clutch replaced. and of course the clutch is not covered by warranty. so it cost me $700. this does not bother me so much as the service i had in the process....i have had Nissan Acura and Toyota and the worst service ive had is a Rick case Honda in Weston.......i live right across the street and i will have no problem driving an hour for some s2000 respect!!!!!!!!!!... Does anyone know who has the best service in south Florida on s2000 i cant take anymore stress... their taking the love out of my car...please help

Hey there, I have had my tranny rebuilt twice and my clutch was replaced under warranty. They should have done it under warranty on yours too. I had mine serviced at Rick Case a couple times, I was VERY happy with my particular service advisor, Mario Muniz, but he's not there anymore. My tranny was serviced at Braman Honda in Lake Worth, and I was very happy with them after the second rebuild. It was like as if I got a new car. I keep having problems with 5th and 6th. I guess you just have to fall in with a good advisor that will work for you and give you the respect you want and deserve. Mine at Braman was Lorrie Dowler: 561-996-5161. She very courteous, prompt at returning calls, and even gives you her cell number to call her at if she's not at the office. Good luck!!

I'm surprised about your experience - I've had excellent service at Rick Case. What exactly turned you off?

Thanks guys i appreciate all the response. to explain exactly why i dislike my service at Honda would take several pages. im glad to hear that their not so bad to other s2000 owners. to sum it up i actually feel they over promise and under serve. i must of had to go back to Rick case 6 or 7 times for the same problems. and it was up to me to take all initiative for my satisfaction. i will definitely be calling you RJ and getting your opinion with in a couple of days. thanks again

Please, tell us more. I bought mine at Rick Case and that's where I'm planning to take it for service in the future. Also, which service advisor did you deal with, so I'll know who to avoid.

Yeh seriously explain what they did wrong? Ive taken mine in for service there since i live down the street, and they are really good. I had keys made and a latch fixed, really quickly. Maybe its because I know a lot of people that work there, that i get special treatment? lol I dont kno but they have been good for me.
