Just to thow this out there, did anyone look at your exhaust hangers?
Mine did that a while back when I made right turns. Exhaust rattled on the cross bar.
Just something else to check.

Ben, yes. It makes the noise even at idle (you have to listen for it).
Some have suggested a TO bearing, the guys at Panducky Motorsports here in Brevard say bad gear bearings in the tranny, but even they are unsure.

Did they use a stethoscope to listen to all parts of the transmission, disconnect the propeller shaft and feel out the output flange of the transmission?

What sucks is you will not know for sure until the trans is dropped. How many miles on the car and it the original clutch in the car?

Made a video!
Please tell me what you make of this.
Notice when I turn the wheel to the right, the sound worsens. Also, at the end of the video, there are some pops in the trans (i suspect) and I could feel it thru the floorboard. I need to get it fixed asap

Can't really feel it in the wheel, but the car vibrates juuust a tad when turning to the right. No wheel bearing issues or anything though. The vibrations are coming from the area of the rattling.

Bill, it rattles a tad when at idle. Not as intense, and you have to listen for it. It really increases with the speed / RPM of the car.
It happens even when the clutch is not engaged, however it is very faint.

I am stumped James.. That is a new one to me. I'm dropping my car off at Panducky for a valve job tomorrow afternoon, I could take a look/listen before then though I don't know if it would do any good. You may have start taking things apart to find this one.
