I'll call/text you when I'm leaving the office and if you're still wanting a little help (or some sort of tools ) I'll come up

In case you haven't heard ... the only real pain is the top hat nuts on the driverside-rear. The fuel lines run nearly overtop of them and can be a little tricky to get to.

okay, I need help. I'm trying to get the top hats off. The bolt is spinning but it isn't getting anywhere, just tearing up the rubber grommet directly underneath it.

Not familiar with s2k shocks, but some shocks have an allen head on them so you can use that to hold them while loosening the nut with an open end wrench. If not, try putting the shock/spring combo back in the car and use the jack to put some tension on it, then loosen the nut while its still in the car. Worst case, i've taken vise grips to the shock rod to hold it(not recommended), and then loosened the nut.

You are correct, there was an allen key head on the bolt. I noticed it after I took a break and looked at it again.

Well, all done. Definitely one of those things where it takes you way longer than it should the first time. I have no doubts that I could rip through that in under 2 hours if I did it again. It looks good, definitely lower. Will the spring lower a little more with time? I thought I heard they take a couple weeks to "settle out" or something.

congrats Wil ... sorry I didn't make it up in time.

Yep ... the springs will settle a little bit after some time/miles. Looking forward to seeing it
