Doing an inspection of the bottom end and block (what I can see from the bottom) as well as getting rebuild quotes. Should be able to pull it in the garage no problem. May use it as an excuse to upgrade and stroke it to an F24, or sleeve it.

If I hadn't effed up I was considering boosting the motor in late 2017 or 2018. The budget for that is now long gone.

 

Your "budget" was blown the moment you decided to own a car instead of a Mutual Fund, Race other peoples cars. That always kept my budget in tact. The best race car on earth is someone else's.

I may run down in the truck just to hang out, especially since I already have a hotel room. It's only a tank of diesel, so not a big deal.

If anyone feels pity on me and would let me do a few laps in their car I will be forever grateful. I'm so bummed since I haven't gotten to drive Homestead, it was a bucket list track to knock off during the year.

 

I'll take you out in whatever Jalopy I bring with me. If I have to go out and rent a Chevy Malibu (again), I will.
