that's exactly what i told the EMT at the scene ... he about rolled over in pain from laughing so hard
I think most of the people there at the scene of the accident really thought i 'bumped my head' because i wasn't running around looking pissed. The lady who hit me really kept her distance thinking that she had just ruined my life. I casually walked up to her and asked if she was the driver of the other car (her boyfriend was standing beside her holding her close). She looked at me with the most amazingly sad look and said 'yes, and I'm SOOO sorry. ARE YOU OKAY!?!?'. She was ready to fall to her knees and pray for forgiveness .. seriously. I said i was fine, introduced myself with a smile and said 'I'm a little sore and my head hurts ... but, i'm okay. It's okay ... these things happen.' She was truly upset with herself (and probably still is) and obviously needed something other than a lashing. She's going to have so much regret to deal with.
My reactions to these situations always confuses people ... but, with how the 'system' is nowadays and being exposed to after-effects ... i just can't justify being upset about something that can be replaced (my car that is). If i were really hurt ... and in a more permanent way. Sure, i'd be a little more upset. But, i'm really ok and believe that 'karma' would haunt me if i were to be more angry about it.
<looking forward to AP1/Berlina part 2!

WOW , after seeing the pics . really glad you are ok . This is testimonty to the stout build and Hondas reputation for building a very safe car . I hope Geico shoots straight with ya . Good Luck , hope all goes well with finding a nice replacement S. I will keep my eyes out too . I am at a Honda store in Tampa

What ever you look at DO NOT bother with Carfax . I bought a 1998 Mustang that I knew buying it that the car was totalled and rebuilt in Pennsylvania . the Carfax was clean . Look into all the jambs , under the hood and trunk deck to make sure the VIN tags match .
